New Jersey Road Test Refresher Course.

The time has come. You've prepared. You've studied hard and practiced all your driving skills. It is now time to get down to schedule your appointment at the local MVC to take the NJ road test and finally get your drivers license.

Did you know that Jersey Safe Driving School provides an NJ road test service?

That's right. We take our driving school services all the way to the end. We offer a service that gets you picked up from your home, work, or school and give you a quick refresher before your final test.

You also don't have to worry about making sure the vehicle you take your test will meet New Jersey standards for eligibility because you can use our vehicle to do it. All motor vehicles must be properly insured, registered, have all working turn signals and brake lights. Since you will be using our vehicle, you can be sure that it will always be properly maintained and checked for safety. It is, after all, a vehicle to train students in all aspects of driving.

Our instructor will pick you up and give you a quick refresher course to make sure you absolutely nail your test. After the quick refresher course, the instructor will drive you to the MVC to take your test. They will wait for you to finish things up and finalize the whole thing with you.

Here are a few things to remember about the NJ Road Test and the skills you will be tested on:

A full understanding of starting your vehicle and checking all mirrors and seat position
They will check your steering and make sure you keep your hands at 10/2 or 9/3)
Proper stopping and not "rolling through" your stops. Stopping behind lines
Proper backing and making sure you back up straight with your left hand on the top of the wheel while looking over your shoulder
They will check how you turn around like basic 3-point turns
How you approach intersections to see if you look both ways as you approach
They will check your driving speed at all times
They will check how you park the vehicle like parallel parking
Your overall attention to your driving and following the rules of the road
